About Me

Nabhan is a Chartered Engineer in Naval Architecture (Engineering Council UK – The Royal Institution of Naval Architects), a Professional Engineer in Naval Architecture (Board of Engineers Malaysia), and a Professional Technologist in Maritime Technology (Malaysia Board of Technologists), with over a decade of experience leading and advising complex maritime and offshore programmes across design, construction, classification, and asset governance.

He brings a strong blend of technical authority and business leadership, with particular expertise in risk-based decision making for floating offshore and naval architecture assets, including FPSOs, commercial vessels, and military and para-military ships. His experience spans ship repair, conversion, and newbuilding projects, where he has consistently balanced safety, compliance, cost, schedule, and long-term asset value in support of organisational objectives.

Through senior roles within a leading classification society and as a strategic consultant, Nabhan has worked closely with executives, regulators, shipowners, and shipyards on Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) programmes, plan approval, and regulatory engagement. He is highly experienced in navigating IACS, Lloyd’s Register, and other class rules, as well as International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements, translating regulatory and technical complexity into clear, commercially informed decisions that support governance, sustainability, and long-term business performance.
